Most of these paintings are painted with acrylics over American Birch wood. You can often see the natural, organic lines of the wood, which creates a light and reflective quality within the works. They have a different feel in morning light, at sunset, or at night. Some of the paintings have an underpainted layer, which causes eyes to follow you, or a different area to be highlighted under various lights.
